I don't expect to get enough likes to win since it is less than an hour left in the contest but here is my oldest coin. It is an 1811 O-104a Bust half I bought to put into a Dansco 7070 type album. It is now resting comfortably in a Capital Plastics type half dollars holder.

Er, I thought voting ends on 6/14, this is the first time you mentioned the 30th...why do the deadlines keep changing? Could you give us an update on the voting progress?

 

I am guessing that it is because the contest was already stretched out far too long, so this added to excessive rules may have caused some to lose interest. This is, of course, not meant as a criticism, but only a respectful observation. Maybe if we bump the thread for him, more will participate.

Or maybe he just wanted to start a 3000th post contest before the 2000th ended.

 

No, i just wanted to add a little more time so those who would like to participate may do so.

 

I'm still good for a prize but I'm going out of town tomorrow and won't be back till the middle of July. I will have internet access so I'll be able to monitor things 'round these parts. Forgive my inability to send things out right away but have no fear the prize will arrive.........
