    Anyone ever see anything like this before? I have about 30 that I can identify so I will put one or two up a night and see what comes up. Thanks guys/gals.

    That's a very unusual item.The reverse inscription could possibly give it away as being a souvenir of an exhibition in London,England.As to when it was produced,I don't have a clue.

    Found an identical token - does 1940 / New York seem like the best attribution? Was this an admission token?

    I've seen several similar pieces, mostly with same obverse and rope/shield design on reverse but with different wording or numbers. I believe these are souvenir medallions from different stops of the traveling exhibition. It's highly unlikely to have been an admission token, or really a "token" of any kind.
