Since I started collecting cents in the winter of 2012/2013, I found my 1000th wheat cent :D

Have had them seperate since I started. Any coins bought with a premium are in another bin. When I started filling folders, I only had coins that I found in circulation. Mostly 40-58. Except for few, most coins that were upgraded, were bought with a premium, so anything that was replaced in the folder, wasput back in the "found" bin. The found bin now has 20 rolls in it :)

Ace, I was extremely lucky a few weeks ago. I go to delis and newsstands for most of my searching. The one big find was $207 lot, 344 of the coins were wheats.

Looks like a guy bought something and handed the owner 4 rolls of wheats, plus there was another 144 scattered in the bucket

Found? As in pulled out of circulation? 1000 wheaties in two years is pretty impressive. Must have taken countless hours.

Congratulations! That's amazing to find so many still in circulation, I marvel at your patience as well! :) After 10 rolls I go coo-coo....

Since I started collecting I've only found about 5 in circulation...I saved them all.

Wheaties are as rare as hens teeth 'round these parts but I managed to find this one in the pocket change a few weeks ago........

Yes Peter, countless hours. In January I was planning on keeping a log of how much I search but I forgot to lol. I think starting July 1st I'm going to start keeping track of it, by logging the lot amount I paid and what I found. I'm sure I searched over $2000 last year alone. That comes out to about $40 per week and that's about what the amount I'm doing this year. So about 200,000 cents per year.
