    Hello everyone,
Just wanted to show some of the error coins I have so far.

This coin looks like they missed.

This coin i suspect is a result of a broken/chipped die as the reverse imprint is weak in the area.

    This penny is off-center

My guess on this one is that a penny stuck in the die since the obverse is concave with a imprint of the reverse.

This nickel is another broken die suspect. Reverse imprint is weak in the area.

This penny is missing the RU in TRUST

This dime is missing the reverse. I suspect someone did it due to the pattern in the back

    This dime is off-center

Unsure about this penny as it looks off-center but it has double rim on the right side

That's all i have for now. I have many more coins to look through.

I don't collect errors but I really like the penny with just a partial imprint on about 20% of the coin . Did you buy these or find them ? The '80 with the large cud is kool too .

    2x 82p cent offcenter

Looks like strike doubling to me, I have some like that. Get a 5x magnifier, you should see some doubling on the letters, though it's harder to see on copper than clad.

The ghost RU cent is missing lincoln's eye too.

The one with the imprint of the lincoln memorial is a called a capped die error. Also fyi, you should hold your coins by the rim between your thumb and forefinger and not on the face of the coin. It will overtime leave fingerprints on the coins and cause them to be less valueable.

    Hi,

Here are the ones that are valuable:

The off center struck coin , your first picture, about $3.00

Second coin, CUD error , is what it is called, That's a $15.00 to $20.00 coin.

Next one, is the one where the reverse is impressed into the obverse. That is called a full centered brockage and is probably $50.00 plus.

The nickel with the raised metal may be a CUD, but I am not sure based upon the picture as to whether or not it could also be a coin tampered with to look like a CUD error.

The 1980 cent with a few letters missing was struck through grease and is fairly common . This one may be worth 10 cents.

The coins that are slightly off-center are in fact coins struck by slightly misaligned dies. They are extremely common and have no value. That includes the dime that was struck by misaligned dies.

The dime with no reverse was machined and at one time was part of a novelty item called a Magician's coin. This piece would have fit inside a hollowed out One cent coin. It has no numismatic value.

    Thanks,
    Bill

I like the nickel with the cud best . this one will fetch a good price if sold because the cud is perfectly formed. it almost looks like it should be there , awesome.
