What would you sell this coin for? Obviously, the area around the "Y" in liberty would detract from its over eye appeal.
You're right there , I think it's a AU-53 at most and a common date . I bought a 1910 in better condition for $50 over bullion at Harlen Berks a few years back .
"Doesn't mean someone overpaid!" I am quite sure the gentleman's point was only that this coin sold on Heritage three days ago along another NGC58 at the same price. Based upon this it is probably safe to assume that the price was fair and said price would be a realistic value to place upon the coin. Therefore, no implication was made in regards to overpaying; paranoid much?
