There are 32 total from P & D. 2 total is from a particular mint (D) and Position (B). Does he say anywhere in this thread which mint and position this coin is? It could be a P mint in which case there are 29 MS67s.
heres the link for pcgs only 3 at ms-67, period, don't know what your looking at, his coin is a D mint-mark http://www.pcgs.com/pop/detail.aspx?c=1650&p=MS&t=3&ccid=5907 also this is a base graded coin too
I you go back and look at what I said in post #17, you will see that I said what you did. I just broke it down into position A and B. I didn't see where he said his coin was a D though. $750 is guide price for D minted dollar with Position B. There is not guide price for the Position A example. In your post #20, what were you looking at? You said there were only 2 P and D Lincoln's graded MS67
So the OP is told his coin is worth 5K and now the truth is that it's worth very little. Someone needs to thing twice before posting.
no, if it was graded by pcgs, I could sell it, for that amount of money, I know someone building a registered set, and theres only 3 known, I'm pretty sure hes still looking for 1
theres some money to make in modern coins, if you can find hi graded ones, heres another 1 I got good money for, sold it when it was 1 of 1 none finer COIN INFORMATION Cert Verification #: 19663389 PCGS Coin #: 418799 Date, mintmark: 2010-D Denomination: 10C Country: The United States of America Grade: MS67FB Mintage: 562,000,000 PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $120 Holder Type: Standard Population: 17
Rick. Think about it. Even in a PCGS 67 slab the OP coin is not a 5K coin. You got something mixed up.
listen, people build registered set, want the best out there, money grows on trees in their yard, I know what I'm talking about
I'm going to show everyone something, heres 1 I own COIN INFORMATION Cert Verification #: 11894689 PCGS Coin #: 394655 Date, mintmark: 2008-D Denomination: $1 Variety: James Monroe Position A Country: The United States of America Grade: MS67 PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $14 Holder Type: Standard Population: 12 here 1 more COIN INFORMATION Cert Verification #: 15084554 PCGS Coin #: 409725 Date, mintmark: 2009-P Denomination: $1 Variety: Zachary Taylor Position B Country: The United States of America Grade: MS67 PCGS Price GuideSM Value: $1,350 Holder Type: Standard Population: 5 heres the way " I " say the price guide works, ( starts ) who ever sell the first coin, (within range of quality for price) for the highest graded 1, starts the price guide for that grade, that least for moderns coinages, that just my option, I sold the first Zachary Taylor, pos.B
So, say you have five $25 rolls of any of the Presidential coins that you bought at your bank when they were still available that way. What are the chances that any coin would come back MS67 ?
The bank is where I was collecting my from, even pcgs asked me where I was getting them at, but, when the bank stopped caring them, I stopped collecting them, I'll photo my collection today, some have to be sent in for a regrade, had them graded when they were released, now all fine lines are gone, natural patina is taking over
