Quarter error?

    image.jpg I'm pretty sure it's not worn or anything. All it is, is a single dot, but it's looks to big to be a faded letter. This worth anything?

    It's on the bottom right of the quarter when the letter (such as P S) would be. I'll try and get a better picture

    It's a worn or grease filled P. Nothing special. Still worth a quarter, though.

    Yes. And it looks like that due to a chipped die. Still nothing special. Still worth a quarter.

    I thought a chipped- die quarter should be more valuable than face value.

    Do you have any idea how many coins are produced by one die? Any idea of how many dies are used every year? There are well into the hundreds of thousands of those out there. I don't know of anyone that collects that kind of "error". It's a spender. Live with it.

    They're as common as flies on dog doo-doo. Why would anyone want to pay a premium for them?

    Toss it in a coin bowl, not worth anything extra, but it is something different
