How do we get coins graded and where ?

Ok we are pretty new to the coin collecting 2+ years small fish .What do they charge per coin etc and how do we get coins graded? I will want to get my $5 gold hof and silver hof coins graded when they finally arrive 1st of July. .

not to derail this thread but how come ANACS will not get the same respect as say pcgs/ngc?

I will be sending some Morgans off for the first time here shortly..(never have sent a coin off before to get slabbed) ANACS seems to be a little easier process to me. (no club membership or other stuff required)

I know pcgs/NGC bring better resale numbers...

But why does anacs not get any respect?

 

ANACS is good because they will authenticate many more varieties, but for top resale value, PCGS and NGC are your go-to TPGs.

Thanks on the info as soon as I get my hall of fame coins I will have to send 1 of each in for grading
