That is the million dollar question. Nobody knows and that is increasing this crazy demand/prices for these coins. I have heard rumors that the mint is having trouble making these due to curved shape but that does not make sense as they had no trouble with the earlier run. They really need to give out some information about the delay. TC

 

Perhaps. I expect that too, but we don't really know how deep the demand is. These have spread well beyond the usual dealer/collector/investor crowd into baseball dealer/collectors/investors. The demand could be much more than we'd usually expect.

It doesn't matter to me anyway - mine are going in a little box in a room full of other little boxes for a long, long sleep.

 

I already sold all of my half dollars, dollars and proof gold. Fantastic profit, too. Waiting on gold uncirculated, though. I think those will hold a heavy premium long into the future.

 

Yeah, I ended up getting in close to 10 orders in total due to the hype. I will probably have all the silver and gold graded though none will have a FS label. I just hope that they honor all the orders but we will see. I would like to keep one of each in MS70 but who knows how they are grading these things. And to think if it wasn't for this site I probably would have only bought one lol.

 

Even the clad half dollars are on back order now.

There are copies already available on "that certain Chinese trade site" famous for coin knockoffs....

$0.10 - $0.50 each for the gold ones, depending on volume. Minimum order is 100 pcs. They can supply 100,000 pcs a month. Maybe the US Mint should have outsourced their production to them - I'd have my coins already! LOL!

No not sell them. It's the novelty green. Then again, the idea of fakes floating anywhere isn't really best either. Hmmm

 

Maybe if the mint would just ship my coins, I wouldn't have to result to Chinese knockoffs to satisfy my craving. Haha

 

Took a BB Silver Dollar out of the plastic capsule and laid it glove side down on the blue felt liner on the capsule holder. Stuck it in the drawer back in October 2014 and forgot about it. Well today I was looking for some tape and found it. Started toning on one side but the photos don't do it justice. Stuck it back in the box and buried it again.

 

That’s turning out very nicely. Starting to come out like a nice rubber up game ball
