I see coins that are struck through often, and through many things. Most often it is just grease. This 1983 penny is struck through on the obverse and it would seem to be grease. But the reverse while struck through, I don't see how grease could of caused this result. Struck through coins are worth what they are worth, but is there a time when it is like this and becomes worth more ? I don't want to get this slabbed if at the most it could be worth, it is less than the cost of slabbing it. Has anyone ever seen something like this. Or do any of you know the value of this coin ? Thanks for the help I am stumped.
