That's mighty fine, jello. My collecting aesthetics soured on paying premiums for coins with a bit of attractive tarnish, but I would happily take that dollar any day.
Another addition to my common US coins is this Memorial cent graded by NGC at 66 RD, although it looks more RB to me. Seller's fuzzy pics... I have a feeling this coin will look quite nice in hand, and it came dirt cheap - maybe somebody upgraded and didn't really care about recouping the costs. At any rate, I bought a few rolls of 1959 cents and searched through them, but wasn't terribly wowed by anything - lot's of contact marks on all the coins. I'm curious to see how this penny compares to the raw ones.
You deserve it. That's quite an impressive type set you're building. Well-done, sir. Nice! The more I see the satin finishes on moderns, the more I like them.
So you're the one that bought it! What a stunning coin, it's in my eBay photo "Collection", because as far as toners go, IMO they don't get much better! Incredible pick-up!
Outstanding new additions everyone! They are all beauties Might cheat a little here with some coins I bought for my eBay store. I went Half Cent crazy the other day, but am glad I did, what great history! They've all seen some wear, the 1804 is a knock-out though. The 1834 was cleaned at some point, but I'm honored just to own an example that still has some Mint luster.
