Ah, I see. Well, I am sure that lots of visitors have found your exhibition to be attractive - the photos of your exhibits that you posted here at CT were certainly very interesting. But it may indeed be a bit much to sell, buy, network and exhibit all at the same time. All the best for your last show with the Penny Potpourri, and for future shows without it!

Great write-up, as always. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Summer FUN?

Thank you! No, I won't be a Summer FUN - June and July are more relaxing months for me and I mostly do local shows. I will also be at the ANA Summer Seminar the end of June/early July, and then will be gearing up for the huge Chicago ANA in early August - and will be there for 8 days since I'm setting up for the pre-show, plus that will be the "swan song" for my exhibit so I need to make go over my exhibit boards to make sure everything is perfect!

Oh well. Everybody deserves a break. Nothing wrong with going local. Good luck with the Windy City trip, and keep us posted.

Hate that it cost $10 just to get in the door ($5 parking and $5 admission) but it was a pretty fun show. To be honest I enjoy coin shows more for the opportunity to talk with others about coins in person than to buy anything lol... I had a great conversation with someone who deals primarily in world currency, and sells tons of it in Singapore. Most of what I bought was just from him. (Though I did buy an MPC that just amused me with Liberty's expression; I'm sure MPC collectors know which one I mean lol...).

Got to see ANA's 1913 Liberty nickel up close. To be honest, it's not as thrilling as getting to see the 10 1933 Double Eagles at the World Series of Money a few years ago, but still it's a legendary coin.

And the little cafe there had great brisket sandwiches! Overpriced lol, but still good.
