There appears to be an extra stem on the olive branch.
On the obverse, there is a raised arrowhead or leaf tipped shaped on the nose and a thin raised line between the eye and the bridge of the nose.

They look like possibly clash marks.

If the mark at the base of the olive branch is raised, it is probably a die gouge. If you have any of the 2000-P South Carolina SQ's, check them for the "extra twig" near the bird on the reverse. This is also a die gouge. I have seven of these I got from a $25 SC bag.

The vertical mark in front of the eye could be, either, a die crack or gouge. I'm leaning toward it being a gouge, but I can't be sure without a better close-up.

The mark at the bridge of the nose could be a clash, but I'd need a better close-up of that, too. Try rotating the coin under the light, a little at a time, to get the best image with the camera.

Is there a particular camera you recommend?

Not really because most cameras are like computers. They are "new and improved" every 3-6 months. My camera is almost 10 years old. You'd be better off asking Bob (robec), Paul (Lehigh96) or Greg (gbroke).
