I'd say #2 is nicer. The uneven toning of the first coin makes me think that it was previously cleaned.

You are 100% correct sir. My apologies. I would take the 1929-d simply because it is a lower mintage as they are both worn down to bullion level.
If the selling price is the same, I would buy #2. Besides more detail, it has the more natural silver color. I own one toned silver coin in my collection, so natural color is important to me. I don't have as heavy of a demand on copper pieces.
I'm liking the 29 I like the color and is well struck and finely detailed even with the wear the 37 not bad either but the 29 a tougher coin and my pick
