Indeed. She was a marvelous Lady. Just can't resist the temptation to take a poke at the likeness on the coin. Done that many times, but Eunice was a most extraordinary individual. I'll never get there......
Doubt she would have taken it as a compliment, but the rough texture of the portrait reminds me of the buffalo nickel. I like it honestly; it has a nice "classic" look to it that reminds me of some of the Liberty portraits on early US coins. It's a better portrait than her brother Robert Kennedy got on his commem. IMO. His portrait on that coin is far less flattering than this one.
