I'm fond of many of Kruger-Gray's coin designs. One example is the rendition of "Hope" on reverse of the South African shillings.
How about a moldy oldie? From Syracuse, Sicily; minted under the tyrant Agathokles. A tetradrachm (silver coin, 24 mm, 17.4 gm); Arethusa on the obverse, quadriga & charioteer, triskeles symbol on the reverse. Minted ~310-305 BC
Unfortunately no the coin will continue to tone being in the slab and proper storage will slow it down greatly so likely there will be little change in a lifetime but there will be change in the color over the next couple hundred years tho I won't be around to see it
Italian coins are some of the best engraving done. This is one of the hardest to to find in Mintstage it a gem in my eyes.
