Yup, I can't seem to get enough of these sweet Pontos coins!!

yummy, yummy ... this cool lookin' coin made me melt when I first laid eyes on it ...

20mm and 8.5 grams of sweet brown bronze patina ... this is what I think an ancient coin should look like!! .... I'm hopin' that you awesome coin-comrades agree that this baby rocks!!

I don't know why I even own a Pontos Amisos coin, but I do!

Great pickup and collection Steve! Love the eagle on the reverse (what can I say I'm a bird-lover ). I don't have a Pontos coin to contribute though, so I can only sit on the sidelines this time around.

 

Man, would you quit wasting money on Pontos coins. They're not worth anything and they're ugly.

 

sweet "chocolate and gold" patina nice and heavy also, bet it feels sweet as well as looks sweet.

 

Phew, my Pontos is in a bank somewhere and I never imaged it.

Here are two for the thread, steve.

The first has such an unattractive patina that I just can't love the poor thing and will have to replace it.

The second coin I like. I still haven't found the reason why so many of this type have these scrape marks on them. Some other Amisos coins have them also, one of stevex's has similar scrapes.
