Not really fond of it either. Five years ago, when the Monnaie de Paris issued the first concave/convex "space" coins, they were cool. These ones, hmmm ... Christian
It's my understanding that the Paris Mint has been making coins like this for a while. Would anyone care to guess where the US Mint came up with their original idea? Chris
Nothing original about us Chris. All in the Family (70's sit-com) was originally a British production.......
As well as Sanford and Son with Redd Foxx. The original British show was called Steptoe and Son. Does anyone know of more of these?
Here's an obscure one that didn't succeed but the original British production was wildly popular here in the States on PBS. Snavely, re-done from Faulty Towers.

Agreed. Son the business interests behind commemorative coin legislation in the U.S. is likely to employ the U.S. Mint to strike the shape and designs for every ball-oriented sport currently a popular form of marketed entertainment used to stir patriotism or home how nationalism in sports fans hearts. Perhaps the "dome" will even be reshaped for American football. Shall we soon see a companion guide book for Modern Domed Coins and their values, too?
I hope not. The BHOF is fine, but if they get on the freak train, it will do a lot of damage to the BHOF's and the hobby.
