I can't believe this listing is still active. Did anyone else report it? I even sent the seller a question but it didn't post...........

I suspect eBay will let it ride out. Honestly, it doesn't appear the listing is technically breaking any actual rules. Either way, it's a great show, don't pull the plug!

Oh, but it is unless you think it is real. eBay does not allow counterfeit or replica coins. However, they are off Friday evening through Sunday. And, they might runt it through their coin authenticators and my guess is they only work weekdays. Not sure when, but I bet it goes away.

It is a known fact that only 5 of these coins were minted and all of them are accounted for.

does INB have a website? if the seller has a real 1913 V nickel, why on earth wouldnt they send it to PCGS or NGC? probably fake

    Not probably. Absolutely.

It's a fake...simple as that. There is no room (none) for any argument about that. It is known and always has been known that only 5 1913 Liberty Head Nickels were minted...and all 5 are accounted for.

Its about 40 or 50 bucks to submit to pcgs. INB probably had a special, so why not save a few bucks. Its certified genuine by a tpg, thats all I need know to go all in.

Seriously, I hope none of those bids are real. Are they all you guys having fun or is there a very deluded person out there?

Oh, this is rich. The guy just answered my question.....

"we are not coin dealers. we sell estate items for people. we put the small stuff on ebay and auction the large stuff in our town. I see many people are bidding on this so it must be a rare date. the plastic case says genuine and the photos are of the coin in the case. we have other old coins and gold items from this estate also that people are also very interested in. hope this helps. you can use the close up view to look at the coin better or stop by our place and see in in person if you like"

Nothing like pulling the 'plausible deniability' card 'eh? :)

Bids are real, look at bkozak's store and compare the feedback score from his store to the bidders fb score.

This is actually a really smart buy, as you can flip it directly to the Smithsonian.
    Easy money.
