mercury dime for U.S. but I mostly collect world coins.

 

So I take it you are only asking my favorite US coin? If so, I would say maybe the half dollar. One of only a few denominations made consistently through our history, one of the easiest sets to complete for any period, and some nice designs over the years. Half dollars are what I specialized in when I collected US coins.

Today? Idk what my favorite denomination is, maybe Dirhem.

 

Silver dollars especially the flowing hair and draped bust followed closely by trade dollars especially proof trade dollars

 

Cent...particularly Coronet Large Cents and Lincoln Wheat Cents.

 

I like the Canadian Silver dollars.

I like a little bit of everything, but if I had to choose, I always have a hard time shaking Lincoln Cents

Just love a lustrous, blast white, hammered strike, Peace dollar. Peace dollars with a fully hammered strike are relatively difficult to find, and when found, boy, I just love 'em.

 

For the last year or so, the Bust Half Dollar.

 

I like bust half dollars but they cost a lot of money. Sometimes I like the FIJI turtle

 

I prefer the 2,3, and 20 cent pieces but since they weren't an option I'll say half dollars (specifically capped bust and seated liberty)

 

I would have added the twenty cent piece to my bust quarters as well. That was before acquiring one. Once the hunt is over, it becomes secondary.

 

Either Mercury Dime or $10 Indian Headdress Eagle. Prob the Gold Eagle by a smidge.

 

I prefer half dollars and just adore Reeded Edge half dollars.

 

Nickels... especially the 'V' and Jefferson. But not the ugly Buffalo!
