Hey everyone. I just found this coin while looking through my grandfather's old things and needed help verifying the integrity of the coin. The yellow strip across the back seems to be leftover residue from tape or other adhesive. Thanks for your help.
Well it's close to being perfectly round. The real ones were cut from hammered silver sheets by hand with shears leaving them very uneven. And that leads us to the next problem, too thick. Hard to cut a thick layer of metal by hand so they were thin. And finally the lettering font is wrong. It also doesn't LOOK like silver. Also notice that it almost appears to have a rim around the outer edge. The real ones don't have that.
