Come on guy-o, you know that I was fighting a three front battle. But in all seriousness, do you really need to spank Josh?

How can it come straight from the mint? I haven't even stolen them from there yet!

If he stays away from me, there will be no spanking, or at least I won't start it. Three front battle???

As to date, there are three people (mikem2000, bkozak33....) who wrote their name on my list....I was offering an olive branch...do you want to have your name crossed off Billy?

Well, in his defence, he didn't exactly start that certain TMI thread:

    http://www.cointalk.com/threads/the-meaning-of-marriage.245833/

It had the unique distinction of giving me a whole new appreciation for our fellow forumite Detecto. I used to think he was the TMI King, but he has been usurped.

Sorry Detecto(Tim) the big target on your back was stolen by Josh.

yeah you are right that was definitely a big mistake. Everyone makes some mistakes every once in a while so let us move on from that. I assure you no such TMI threads will be posted by me ever again.

    No.

As for the 1965-D? I've got 2 in my shopping cart but I have not pulled the payment trigger.

You see, they may sell in the after market for more than the $120 asking price but it would have to be a LOT more than $120!
Given the publicity these have received on the CT and PCGS Coin Forums, I do not expect the mintages to be low enough to command any sort of profit making premiums.

Hence..................the slo-mo punch to the payment key! It might even take me a week to do so.

I agree. Hal Turner is an ID TEN T whose opinions are pure, unjustifiable garbage.

I might pull the trigger finger on one of them. Not two though. Wisht I had purchased several of the '64-D.

The only one's left are the $125 variety. The $80 sold out in a few days. A '64 / '65 pair will be nice to have but not everyone can get those to do that.

Says on the page that more of the bulk handled are going to be available soon. I pulled the trigger, like the idea of the 64/65 type set. It is funny, I suggested several times to DC that he do a '65 - glad to see he did.

Thanks, I hope he puts up more of the bulk handled, too.

I fully agree with krispy. these will sell out relatively quickly. With a total mintage of 950 between the two, and his making more of the 'bulk handled' version, I think the 'high grade' could wind up being close to 1/3 of the total mintage, making it tougher to get than the 'bulk handled', in the secondary market. I see the 'high grade' being a winner, not saying the 'bulk handled' version won't be. But, as has been said, those with the '64-D's will more than likely want the 'full set'. I only buy these to re-sell, because a lot of his items do very well in the secondary market, and I buy COINS, not 'fantasy' pieces. IF this can command double or more of issue price, I just use that extra $$ to buy REAL coins. I bought the whole set (4 versions, I think it was), and did very well selling the complete '64-D 'set'. If I had held longer, I would have done better, but I was MORE than pleased with what I sold for, after only 2 months. Bought me a nice PCGS MS63 $10 Indian with my profits. Again, this will more than likely be a 'must have' for those that bought the '64-D's to KEEP...who wants an 'incomplete set' if the 'set' is only 6 coins and can be completed relatively easily?? I will probably get a 'bulk handled' piece or two when available, but either way, I see the 'high grade' being the bigger winner, much like the 'satin finish' and the 'proof finish' were the 'biggies' with the '64-D's. JMHO.

Belly up folks. I think we have an alternative to the US Mint for aftermarket opportunities. DC productions most nimble. And the TV shysters ain't got's a clue..........
