Lovely coins. You know there are two different versions of the 1971 right? There's a different style on the eagle.
Yes, and I have both, but the grid I put together would only contain an even Number of coins. I could have left out the 1955 instead but I choose the 1971. Only you would have caught that.
In addition to being sarcastic, I am sometimes facetious. I don't think they are boring at all. I really enjoyed putting this together.
Just like the 1971 which has the KM# 440 and 441 reverse, the 1955 has the KM# 439 and 440 reverse. Big difference in value, the 439 is $75 in BU vs. $22 for the 440. Look at the eagle's wings. On the 439 the tips point down and the tail feathers are closed, on the 440 the tips point towards the rim of the coin and the tail feathers are spread.
Could not believe it when I opened this package. KM 138.2 Chile 1881 20 centavos , KM 138.4 Chile 1891 20 centavos die clash error (die partially repaired),
Got this in the mail from Scotland. I think it's funny that the Brits wanted to thumb their nose at Spain after stealing their treasure.
my new 1870 Spain 5 centimos, sellers pics : I am doing the 1, 2, 5, and 10 centimos denomination type set collection.
here is my new 1870 Spain 2 centimos coin. I am pinching myself because this grade/detail especially on the seated lady is so hard to find. sellers pics. so happy:
Here are three of my interesting pickups from the Chicago International Coin Fair today. I'll probably be sharing more as I get a chance. I love the dodo bird!
I really like that Italy coin. it is on my want list down the road in high grade. I have the Belgium Congo elephant coin, but no dodo bird.
