Will the Baseball Hall of Fame Gold coins sell out first day?

That's pretty fast, I'd count on that date changing. I ordered in the first hour on the 27th and I have a 4/12 date that creeps forward daily.

Gold makes people do strange things. Sports make people do strange things. I see some crazy things happening here, both joyful and sad. Great stories! I finally decided to cough up $50 for an unc silv $1. I am glad to get one no matter the past present future value.

 

True, silv. And some may say even $50 is crazy for a piece of silver, too. Then we go to eBay and see BINs for the silver HoF coin at $1000, or the absurdities listed at the Coin Vault as just mentioned earlier in this thread. The only thing this irresponsible and hysterical pricing does is damage the overall value perception of coin trading and show the sharks, profiteering wheeler dealers, and even the Mint, what dupes people are for the taking. I agree with people earning back on their collections, businesses should be profitable too, but there's apparently no sense of a limit with regard to these asking prices.

 

Doesn't the Mint release a weekly sales report every Tuesday? What time should it be available, and where can we find the info?

my status went from "HOLD" to "In process"

they still say backordered but my cancel boxes are gone. card has not been charged.

I got my order in at 12:35

 

My status went to "in process" this morning. Now it says that the reusable bag was shipped today and the coins will ship tomorrow after the coins have been showing a ship date of 4/1/14 the entire time. Weird...

 

My ship dates were moved back.

 

sounds like they are getting ready to ship everyones bag and not the coins.

 

THAT'S EFFICIENT, SHEESH! If only someone with a brain were running the mint, maybe they could lower their prices to what they should be.

 

I think the "free bag" is a way for them to prevent cancelations. once they ship the bag your cancel boxes will disappear.

 

Oooh!!! My gold coins order now shows up! Both are listed as Backordered - with the proof having a ship date of 7/6, and the Unc having a ship date of 7/16. My order for silver is now "in-process" with all varieties except the Unc Silver having a ship date of 4/2, and the Unc Silver having a ship date of 4/15.

 

Order # 4292xxxx, IN PROCESS.

 

My order was time stamped 12:46 PM. And I just noticed that my cancel boxes have disappeared. Hopefully, they will ship soon.
