1979-D Penny with die error in hair?

I found this 1979-D and it appears to have a line in the hair on the obverse.
Any thoughts? I also think the right end of the line is a cud.
The lighting was adjusted several ways, and this is the best image I ended with.

Looks like A Die Crack.
That's when there is a crack on the die itself so when it strikes the blank planchet the metal from the planchet goes into the void of the crack and appears raised on the coin.

Not a Cud. That involves the edge of the coin.
