I had this coin listed for 20 bucks on Ebay for 5 months. Not even one offer. Are there just not that many Kennedy collectors out there?
Perhaps people feel that $20 is too much. The toning on it is not all that spectacular. Maybe you should list it with a "Make Offer". At least then, you will have a better idea of what people are willing to pay for it. Chris
Not enough silver for $20. I actually have several 1964's and at least 4 are mint sealed. I'm pretty much ignoring all your Kennedy's, regardless of how attractive the toning might be.
Aaaahhh I see now. Funny guy! Okay seriously, is it some sort of variety or something? I really don't know. EDIT: Is that doubling I see on "United S"? Regardless it looks mechanical and not much of premium if it is anyway.
I doubt it. I pay very little attention to varietys or errors. Its a nice coin and I offered it at a great price. I just think people dont know much about Kennedys.
I would only pay maybe 11-13 for it. I just think there are to many over priced BIN coins on ebay. I watch about 100 BIN coins and the listing ends and nobody buys. I hope someone is selling them but I am not a buyer at over the PCGS price guide. I think that is a fair retail price for the coin.
Just because they dont sell in 30 days, doesnt mean they wont sell. Brick mortar coin shops dont turn their entire inventory over in 30 days. Why would you expect an online coin shop to turns theirs over in a month
Scrap silver in my opinion just like 99.9% of all halfs post 1947 now show me a bust or seated liberty in this condition and I'd be all over it
