double die 2012 penny?

    Thank you for your opinion, greatly appreciated. Is/could it be worth anything, in your opinion? Would it be worthwhile to submit it to a 3rd party grading company?

    No, there is no real value (except possibly on eBay) for strike doubling, which is considered damage.
    And no, don't waste your money on getting it slabbed, it'll cost far more than the coin is worth.

    It's saying add the D to the end of double to make it doubled. It's doubled die not double die.
