Their attraction to me is the unique shape. I believe this is the only US Minted coin to have this shape That makes these the First coins shaped like this, AND the US past time is baseball. A very popular subject.
An other plus is the low PM prices, so the price for these unique coins is reasonable.

I'm thinking because it's a baseball coin and it's the first domed coin as far as the US goes. The bottom line will be on how quickly they sell out.

I think another part of the appeal is the art's bold and simple design. A lot of modern commem's designs are too busy; this one sticks out from many others...

Been a while since I was here - hope everyone has been well~ Looks like I'm glad I went ahead and ordered a pair of these little gems last night. Looks like it took my order, backordered on proof til 7/2 and 4/12 on the UNC. Checked this morning and now they are on a waiting list so I'm guessing sold out eh?
