I got this in the mail today. It's Isle of Man 1798 1 penny. It's too bad that someone defaced it, but I really like the three-legged design for some reason and have always wanted one like this.
Got this one earlier this year via HA auction. It's a EP Newman piece. It's very attractive Australian Gold Sovereign with an orangish hue.
This might not look like much, but I've been looking for this coin for about two years or more. These never come up for sale and I never find them. I had to get this from Germany. It completes my set of Mexican 5 centavos from 1906 to 2002, when the series ended.
Congratulations! I have someone in Mexico looking for the 3 you need plus the one I need, 1974 20 Centavos KM#441 in BU. I check 2 coins shows this month with no luck. I carry your want list with me. I'll scratch this one off your list
Well I was able to pick up the 1952 20 Centavos by buying a package which included the 1 and 5 centavos. Paid $13 for the set. 1 centavo retails for .85, 5 centavos for $11.50 and 20 Centavos $35 in BU. Where are the bargains in U.S. Coins? The 1985 100 Pesos goes in my World Silver collection. Im down to one 20 Centavos to complete the 1943-1974 set in UNC/BU. Somebody out the please have a 1974 KM#441 20 Centavos in BU. I found 4 in Mexico but they all had ugly black spots. Come on, this is a $2 coin! Where are you hiding? Hiddendragon help me out here, I know you feel my pain.
Thanks, I really appreciate that. I have a 1974 20 centavos but not in BU. I'm not as picky about condition as you are. The only 20 centavos I need for my 1906 to the present collection is 1908, which is the rarest one in the series.
KM#46, 1977 Tonga, 20 Seniti, mintage 25,000 . Bees. This is an upgrade to the 1 I already have. for the "coins with insects" collection. cool design.:
just bought off Ebay. Phillipines. I was not aware of 2 different sizes for these butterfly coins until yesterday. for the "coins with insects" collection. enjoy:
Finally someone sent me the larger version of this coin. It was an added bonus in the swap envelope that arrived yesterday. The larger coin is about the size of a half dollar (31mm). This design would be great in silver.
