On the 27th the US Mint will be selling the Baseball HOF coins at the Baltimore show, so is this the date the TPG will use for the early release label? NGC will be accepting these for special labels

Also will they be selling these before noon

You should probably call NGC. I dont know how else to find out the answer to your question - doubt the US mint would know.

As an aside, I love the baseball side of the HOF coins, but I dont like the glove/mitt side. Very uninteresting - they could have made that side of the coin much more detailed if they had a bit more imagination. Maybe the baseball hall of fame building? or a baseball diamond? I dont know, just dont like the bland glove.

I also find it ironic that our US mint chose this year to produce the HOF coins when NO ONE was selected for the baseball hall of fame in 2013 and only 3 in 2014...

Yeah, I know. Just thought it was funny. "Hey, no one was inducted this year... lets make a coin!".

At least that way they didn't have to argue about putting a person on the coin... ;)

Sounds that way but all commemorative start 2-3 yrs before events . Thru laws and officials design of both party .
It's also goes then thru US mint we all know there not that fast or savvy sales wise.

US Mint announced a limit per household on all three types (Gold, Silver & Clad). There's a limit of 50 gold coins per household. And here I was going to order 53 of them....
