One of the things the Mint did not take into consideration with the 2 1/2 and five dollar Indians is the mint mark. They should have had the mint mark as part of the design when the dies were made instead of punching it in afterwards. Being the highest point on the surface the mint marks were subjected to the most wear and damage.

I just received it and it is stuck on a Jefferson Nickel. It is much nicer that I thought it would be.
