Thank you. I looked at the full page Heritage view so many times before my last bid, and I can't for the life of me figure out why it's only a 64. You can see there is still plenty of luster on this coin. There are a couple small bag marks scattered around the obverse and one or two on the reverse. The mark on the cheek is not a ding in the coin, but a discoloration. Could be from the planchet when struck. Not sure. I'm very happy to have this coin and I won it at a decent price.
This finally arrived today, really dramatic double die in hand. Considering sending this one in to be slabbed as a means of protection and preservation.
dwhiz, I bought one of those recently as well. It's one of the only coins minted by the Royal Canadian Mint that actually looks like a bird. I think the eagle series almost looks like a chicken.
Les couleurs de mardi gras - le violet, l'or, le vert. That one has the colors of Mardi Gras purple, gold, green. Laissez les bons temps rouler.
Which would you pick of this two coins? The coin on top or on bottom. The 4 bottom or the same coin. Guess the Grades!
