Awesome job Grasshopper......er, I mean Gonzo. It is very evident you have done some diligent practice, with beautiful results. Is your wife starting to feel neglected yet?
Yes indeed she is, Was informed this morning I need to spend less time with my hobby and more time with her. By the way I will be up in your area again soon, maybe we can get together again for another trip to the coin store?
I posted some Ike's yesterday. there was also a Kennedy album to go along with it. here are some highlights.
That black spot behind the queue on the 1939 is a shame, the toning is extremely attractive. And your photos are excellent.
I grade your 1940-D MS66 5FS but there is not much of a price bump for full steps for the 1940-D which is one of the most common date/mm with FS. Are you sure you want to include a circulated 42-S in your collection? Due to the affordability and availability of uncirculated war nickels, I would think you would want a blazing lustrous GEM BU example.
That guy came from me, which originally came fro ma lot I bought from a fellow cointalker. My original image. Some more from the lot.
I am gonna say 1940-D: Yes 1943-P: No, there is a mark that bridges the 3rd & 4th steps between pillars 1 & 2. 1945-D: No, there look to be several bridges and marks on this one.
