Teller had 6 rolls when I asked about Kennedy's. Someone must have turned in a collection and rolls of bu 70's halves. Everything appears to be unc with some serious beauties in the mix. Blazing luster all around. Some halves were suffering from the green verdigris (Is it verdigris on clad coins?) on the edge. Although I didn't find any silver, I am pleased to remove them from circulation and hopefully into collectors albums. Here are some that stood out. This one is a real stunner with beautiful surfaces and luster and a hint subtle blue toning. Lots of bicentennial This was the nicest one in the bunch. Gorgeous!
It's only special if you're one of those who likes to have a specimen of each......."No FG", "Weak FG" & normal FG. Chris
Some very nice finds in there! I can never get rolls of Kennedys from tellers around my area, they always seem to be loose ones that were laying in the coin trays. Makes it nearly impossible to find one in the condition of the coins you found, let alone find a hidden Franklin or Silver/Silver-clad Kennedy in the middle of a roll that someone didn't know enough about to save.
I find so many 71's that are mS64+ that I throw them back. When I come across something that grabs me I will keep it unless it has the dreaded ring. 71 & 72D's are plentiful in BU condition....that and 76's..
