So I mainly collect Indian Head Cents and always look to find unattributed varieties in MS condition.

I will be trying to sell a few coins soon and am wondering if anyone has an idea on what kind of premium should be associated with the coin for the variety. The varieties in question are:

1869 S-1 (MS64RB).....I believe this is tied for the finest known. Rick Snow has one on his website in VF30 for $800. He did not photoseal it saying it looks more like a Fine coin. I cannot find any prior sales history for coins in any grade. I believe that the coin I have is only the 8th example traced in all grades, therefore it will be difficult to put a value to it.

1875 S-1 (MS63RB).....Cant find any like it for sale, or that have sold.

Any help on projected values will help me. Thanks,

Well this 1869 sold for $750, and its damaged and Anacs, so I'd imagine your should go for more. http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=1153&lotNo=7220

As for the 1875, I only found a circulated example which you no doubt have already seen: http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=131315&lotNo=22712

Thanks for the links......I searched HA.com last night and did not see that 1869.

The only 1875 I found on Heritage was a 65RD that sold 10 years ago. Guess I didnt look too hard.
