Looks like you did OK. At least some show detail already compared to what is usually offered.

Looks like some decent details on those coins. I think you did well. Do you plan to clean them?

A Valens, soldiers and standards and a couple of late Fel temp fallen horseman types, one with M in left field there........as a starter, not bad. You may find by trial and error and a few more purchases, that it can be better to buy one better coin for the price of 10 ok ones......depends on what you are after in the way of a collection. If attribution and the research is your thing then this type of lot is ideal as you can learn more about them by the ID process. Welcome !

    :)Have fun looking-up the coins.

I bought a batch of similar ancients about a year ago & there remains a half dozen that have not yet been identified (by me o_O ). Here is a link to the previous thread depicting my batch of Roman coins:

There are several informative posts from the experts at CT. In particular, there are Websites listed & PDFs listed that really helped me.

P.S. The half dozen coins that I never identified are still rattling around. I'll try to put them into a photo & see if the gurus at CT can help identify them.

13 coins.JPG possibly the addition of a female.....suggestion of hair loop and the size would fit for Theodora or helena...
Can you post rev pics or opposite sides to ones shown in the same coin positions?

no I can't because those pics are the only ones the seller took, so when I get the coins I'll show you the reverse sides and thanks a lot for the help!

Certainly looks like a good enough score (especially for $13 bucks ... which is what my lunch cost me today)

I had a look back at the thread......if you do as you say and put just the as yet unidentified coins in a pic, then we'll have a go. difficult to know which ones you have ID'd otherwise.o_O
