1994-D quarter struck thru debris?

    It's a little hard to tell from those photos, but I think I see evidence of metal pushed out of the "crater". For that reason, I think it is PMD. If it were a strikethrough, the die would prevent metal from forming outside along the edge.

    Yeah been having camera problems. Ill try and take better ones when I can but thanks. If i correct some glare and blurring problems, would angled pics across the coin help identify this?

    No! It's better to take photos from directly above. Try to take a good close-up and see if you can then enlarge it with software.

    As a final update, upon further review im calling it pmd. Displaced.
