treylxapi47, That 1879 half Dollar really pops and it's a proof on top of it. I would love to find its twin sister.
Wow nice One! PR-62 Sure Do Not need a green Bean to sell this 1 look */* sells it's self! Graded when, Anacs ANA was owner Good grade too!!! Gemmy toning!!!
These early coins are quite tricky. Another poster said in another thread that they never buy early proof coins unless its in person and he sees it in hand. I didnt understand until i bought this coin. At a distance it looks a bit different, but under good light and magnification the beauty you seen earlier emerges. Heres a different angle and lighting and somewhat of a less flattering shot of lady liberty. Still a beauty though.
Heres another old newbie from my grandfather MS-64 FH, solid coin for the price. Right before the big jump in Gem grades
This makes 11 out of 72 for my barber dime collection. Trying to get them all in at least f12 except for the really expensive ones. This way it won't take 20 years and strain my finances. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got these 3 together for $36 a bargain I think. I'm putting together a Bicentennial set of quarters, halves, and dollars, in pr69 DCAM and the highest MS grade of each I can afford. I'm in no rush just want good coins for the money and this was cheaper than some winning bids for singles in this grade.
The Silver Ike is beautiful. Well deserved DCAM! I've seen quite a few Ike's that had the designation, but didn't deserve it. I trust the back has the same contrast.
Outstanding silver Ike. Here's another 1948 Franklin I found for a reasonable price, last week I bid on two of them thinking I'd get one and I ended up getting both. Well, I expect one can't have to many...
I'm still debating about that. It's a nice coin, I like it, it fits in the collection I'm building. I'm still not sure what the point is spending the money to have it graded. I only paid $15 for it, I suspect it would cost more then that to have it graded. On the other hand it might be nice to see what grade it would get...
Yes it would cost a bit more than $15.00. but $$ well spent can pay for self coin wise IF MS-64+&Full Bell line
