I love the one from every century concept. What a great way to get a flavor of the evolution of coinage. It's also interesting to people who don't collect.

It's very tough to get people to give a damn about a book of nothing but the same coin with different dates and mint marks.

very nice stevex, i dig coins period. that first coin is cool, but the second coin with all the animal on the coat of arms and the facing eagle (interesting!) is super.

i hope we do the current coins by century thread all the way up to today, i've got something to post the rest of the way out.

Huh? => well, when I went to Canyon Beach on the Oregon Coast I saw better surfing than I did in California ... I'm just sayin'

=> oh, but hats-off to bike riding!! (I ride my mountain bike to work and everywhere 6 months of the year, up here ... and ya gotta ride fast to stay ahead of the fricken mosquitos!!)
