You certainly have an impressive collection. Have you thought about sending some batches of coins to a person like Robec to do proper images of all your coins? It would be definitely worth the investment IMHO. I think he even will host them on his site for you and set up sort of a one-stop-gallery so you can show off all your coins.

    Just a thought.

Well, after 5 years of collecting ancients, I finally got my first sestertius, which is of Crispina. After doing a silver set of her I wanted at least 1 big bronze.

This coin has an uneven patina but is alot nicer in hand. Also what looks like a pit on reverse is extremely shallow, as if the patina chipped off.

With the recent threads about the 1976 Bicentennial Quarters I thought I'd put together a set of them just to look at. The 40% silver quarters are the 3rd and 5th ones

Wow that is a cool site. I dont have any really good pictures. Thinking about upgrading from my iPhone... Do you know what region he is in. I dont like sending to
many coin away for very long. With my luck lately theres no telling what could happen... But I may shoot a text and see if he would consider shooting a couple. Thanks!!!

Yeah, PM him here. I don't actually know him, but I do own a coin or two with his images. He posts here often and many people here use him, so there will be loads of references. Also, with your collection, please tell me you use HWI or equivalent. If so, you could have a policy that covers your coins while being shipped to a coin photographer.

Here is another link you'll want to consider for your photo needs: http://bluccphotos.com

    Here is thread on HWI.

Recently a neighbor asked if I d look at his coins and wanted to know if
I'd be a buyer. At first before even looking I said no. After sitting with the 90 year old for hours I decided yes This is important . So I bought 4 boxes of this stuff. He had a good cry as I left with his life time collection of US Mint Sets + and I made a cool old timer friend. I did pay him a more than fare price. I dont think you can see the Morgans-cc in blue boxes, but as I dug in there he had about 20 1879 thru 1886 I think... I need to send them off to be graded.

I purchased this of eBay today. I'm looking forward to seeing it as it's in a 2x2 and looks dusty to me, so I'll dust it off and send it off to be graded. 84 DDO double ear.jpg

Got this as a type coin--my second Bust Half. This one is skating the border between XF 45 and AU. I'd call it XF 49.9....lol
