More non-US. I will take more photos sometime this week and next. This coin is difficult for me to get right. I had to take the brightness way down and bump the contrast up 20%. The top two images are how the coin looks in hand (ignore the blur) and the bottom image shows what you see at the perfect angle, sometimes.
Just got this beauty. This one is in my set already, but finally has a friend who can really understand him.
Just got this one (seller's pictures). I know it is an unusual color for Barber Halves, but I really loved it. It will undoubtedly bring M.A. questions about dipping and re-toning, but I loved the colors--very much like my toned Morgans. It was gotten for VF 30 prices, and I don't intend to resell it.
Man what a steal. That coin should sell for full price or close to it. VF 30 prices are crazy good for a coin like that. Best thing is if you do send it in to NGC or PCGS and they say it has questionable color, another quick dip (proper) can likely fix that. At any rate I'm super jealous as I love those little white ANACS holders and nice barbers are hard to find. Good job. My jealousy juices are flowing now.
Thanks a lot! I really love the color, even though it might be questionable by PCGS or NGC. Looking at it more, i do think it was a dip and re-tone, not AT. I am going to leave it in the old ANACS holder, as I believe it is graded accurately, and will enjoy it just as it is. I got it for a best offer that was advantageous, so it will stay right where it is.
This coin only has a tiny patch of color on the obverse, and corresponding toning on the reverse, but still very pretty.
I went and saw a gold and silver buyer I buy from regularly and scored this nicely toned 1962-D Franklin for $7.50. Please excuse the glare on the reverse of the Franklin. The obverse is that color, the reverse is a little darker and muted and looks better without the glare.
Meh. And here's the back of a Walker just so I'm not posting the same coin repeatedly for no reason. And the back of a dime... because I'm too lazy to get the front.
Meh, nothing! If you want people to see a coin, take a good picture or don't post it. We're not clairvoyant. lol
