    That quarter is fake because that was gorge washingtin on that quarter, and its 177...

    6.0 and if it was 'altered' would it not weigh less? or doesthe drum weigh more on this

    Weigh more than what? An eagle? You also have a person to account for that isn't on a regular quarter.

    Yes, that was the 1776-1976 Bicentennial quarter. It was a regular issue in 1975-1976. What is being proposed is that the die that struck the planchet was filled with grease or some other goop which prevented the rest of the numbers from being imparted on the die. Its not a fake coin....just something going on with it.

    value not worth sending in imo !!!!!! even if it was worth 10 and i would say it is probably worth 3 it wouldn't be worth sending in

    It's not ffake. Looks like a nice struck through grease to me.

    Might be a grease strike through, but it looks "off". Not sure why.
