I've been playing around on youtube trying to get the slideshow feature to work. I nearly tore my hair out in frustration in the process of trying to get it right, but I think I've come up with an acceptable product. I've posted a video/slide-show of my 12 Caesars( minus the four I don't own yet) and the five good emperors. Posted for the viewing pleasure of my fellow CoinTalk ancient fans. Take a look at this slide show let me know what you think.
Yeah, it was an exercise in frustration, and the format on the dates is still inconsistent. And I ran out of music for Marcus Aurelius and Commodus. But did you notice...there's at least one former Mat coin in there...
Opinions: I'd prefer the slides use the full format space rather than having black bands at the side. You could combine the two sides into one image making a horizontal image or you could expand one side with blank space where you could put the text rather than having it overlap the images.
Yes, I need to still play around with the slide format. There are options that will allow for different transitions as to how the images present themselves in the screen (sliding in from the left or right etc), and one can also select full screen images as opposed to centered by a black border on the side. I intend to play around with it and see if I can't get the image to fill up the screen. The black border is the default image. Not bad for a free service though.
Wow => extremely well done, Bannon ... I thought it was very cool and I also thought your coins looked awesome!! (great job) => ummm, Led Zep in the background would be kinda cool as well
that's cool RB, some nice coins. did you do that in windows movie maker or something similar? I know you can adjust the screen resolution in that to widescreen in that and set the slideshow to be the same length as you music so they match up (you'd still need a longer tune or your coins will fly by to fast). ahhhh ....what a great song...and a great album. lust listened to it a few days ago.
