My wife found a SAC (silver) no date and E pluribus unum with stars all the way around the rim. When dropped on a hard surface it sounds silver as compared to the brass one. Anyone have info about this one? Also has no written value on it (One Dollar) has $1 only. Also the reverse has a scroll with arrows to each side and text Great Law of Peace.

Any pictures to share? That would make it easier to ID.

What is the best way to photo a coin? Scanner or camera.

2010 Sac. Dunno about the silver. Could be plated. The date will be on edge of the rim FYI.

For me, a simple picture from a camera or phone would work for an ID. A scanner would work too, providing it doesn't give you a picture that is blurred.

Haiwatha Reverse to be more precise.
A camera would be better for pictures - as long as you take clear pictures.

Use a camera, on the macro(little flower) setting.
