Here's a 1917-D Type 1 Standing Liberty quarter I picked up the other day.

    :)Nice Pocket change find???
I watch a Quick shop clerk break open a full Bu roll of 2002 yesterday. Fed must be emptying the Atlanta vault;)

78se.jpg 78sf.jpg Just got this one. Seller's photographs, not mine. It is getting an "all expenses paid" trip to Sarasota, for an upgrade. IMHO, the coin is AU 50-53, not XF 45. Newport Beach did not get it right.

Love the ASE proof dwhiz. My 3 arrived on Friday. Beautiful bullion proofs being struck by the U.S. Mint.

Its hard to be a true connoisseur when you grow in South Louisiana. I tried faking
it and that doesnt go over well. I just know what type coins I like when I see them. Do a little research on the internet and usually ask a lot of questions after the purchase.

I now have a business strike 40% silver bicentennial quarter (the only 40% silver business strike quarter ever minted), a silver proof, and a clad proof.

I purchased this one today, and it should be ready for shipping soon:

I always get my PF 70 Eagles from Pinehurst, and have never been disappointed. Never returned one as a "milk dud."

I would have loved to see your reaction at the bar.
When ever I get bills in change I always look at the serial numbers and my friends will ask me "why do you always look at your money like that?" HAHA

Nothing crazy but it is exactly what I'm looking for for my Barber dime set.

I am getting better at the subtle scan :) WHEN busted I explain why I'm looking and it's a good conversation tangent. Gotta keep that explanation short! Hahaha.
Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it.

I just ordered this Liberty Seated quarter, an 1842 large date in a PCGS AU-50 holder. This date has a mintage of 88,000 and I love the toning on it.
