What exactly are you looking for in a peace? If you're just looking for a nice type coin i'd argue you could do better than either choice.

Well the one that is graded is a, MS 65 ( by NGC) and I think the raw one looks a little better

i would agree the raw one looks a little nicer and probably will be a little cheaper for you only questions is that toning on the rim behind liberties head or is that some kind of dirtiness ??

I'd pass on both. They both have issues that I can see, and I question that 65 grade as being too high.

Would you really pass on the raw one, for $12? I don't think so

I think the NGC coin is overgraded , and the raw coin is nicer . How much are they asking for each coin ? Remember there are tons of nice Philadelphia 22s , 23s , 24s etc . outthere that are very nice and don't cost a lot . You can afford to be picky .

Perhaps you should have mentioned this valuable tidbit in the first post instead of throwing it in later as a way of questioning those just trying to help you.

The raw coin is better than the slabbed coin, neither are good for the year and I would pass on both.

    Sure.... I'll bite.

From the iffy photos, it does appear as if your raw newp may be nicer than the supposed NGC65, but this isn't saying much.

It seems that you want either grade opinions or congratulations on your purchase. If the former, perhaps you could remove from the flip, throw more light on it, and rephotograph. If the latter, congrats... at $12 it's a clear win-win.
