NGC stopped grading any toned ASE's a few years back. No way to know, but I don't think they have a higher population than PCGS.

    LarryG_1930_MS66starBN_o4r5.jpg Hi everyone,

I've been following this awesome thread for awhile now and I finally decided to get some of my coins imaged by Robec. (Many thanks, Bob). I collect early date Lincolns in BN or RB that have color, with purple/blue being my favorite color. I really like all toned coins, but sticking to the Lincolns until the set is done. In case you are wondering, the 09S VDB posted by Robec is part of my set.

    Here's another purple toner.

Welcome to CT! You're exactly the kind of member I like. I'm really into plum (purple) colored Lincolns. :D

Did you get through this whole thread yet? If you like toned copper, there's a lot of eye candy in it.

Thanks, BadThad. I have made it through this thread. It took me about a week and a half to get through this one, just laying on the couch with the iPad. So many beautiful coins! The threads and photos on here have really inspired me with my set. I think toned coins are basically works of art. I also enjoy perusing the "new purchases" and the "post a Lincoln" threads. Very nice.

Here's the first purple toner I purchased that basically started the addiction (yes this is an addiction . . .)

Glad I could get the juices flowing. I guess it's only fair as I've drooled plenty over your unbelievable set of MPLs and toned proofs!

WOW. Talk about stunning!! Normally blues and purples in older-dated lincolns seem to be subdued unless reflected in direct light, but this one seems to pop all the way with guns (luster) blazing! Awesome coin!

Too lazy to remove the coin, but finally got around to properly photographing this. I was even too lazy to orient the coin properly. :p
