Strange. I live in Nashville, and I have come across/ collected a few hundred outta circulation. Especially the 13's(Perrys & White Mountains).

You've collected a few hundred out of circulation?

If interested, I can sell you some 13's at approx. face value, or trade. LMK

yes. Over 100 13's alone. I even stopped keeping the Perry's cuz they are so common.

Yep, the higher mintage ones are circulating. Maybe that will prompt more to collect them. Most of the 2010's through 2012's are lower mintage than the 2009 territories. How often do you see those in circulation?

I live about 50 or so miles south of Sacramento and in my change right now I have one 1966, three 1970's, five 1980's, three 1990's, twelve state and five national parks quarters three of which are 2013. This is a typical ratio that I see around here, approximately an equal number of regular and state quarters and far fewer national parks issues.

If anyone wants ATB quarters I do not collect them but I come across them all the time, just PM me and I will let you know what I have.

I just got my first 2014 ATB in circulation today (Smokies)--actually it may be the first 2014 coin of any kind I've seen. It does look great and I will keep it... but I'm baffled by people yanking manymany of the same designs out of circulation. What for? They aren't going to be worth anything. If you like the designs let them be seen! I'm not going to yank the next Smokies quarter I see, because it can't give me anything that the first hasn't already.

Maybe, but if the series ever catches on, like the state quarters (150,000,000 collectors), there won't be near enough of the lower mintage ones to fill the need. What happens then? Supply & Demand

Very cool you already found a Smoky, love that design.
