can you show me a link where the RCM has anything to do with these gilded coins?

I apologize for alluding to the whole story but I have to give this seller 3 more days to make it right before I spill the beans. But everyone be warned, both versions of this coin, the gold "25" with mintage 525 and COA/box and the one with the maple in the back that is gilded with mintage 999 no COA are aftermarket products. They are simply the silver "25" version that has been sent out. It should be immediately evident if you received the 525 mintage one, with it's SQUARE AIR TITE and ghetto COA.

I know. I just saw it as a flip opportunity. I made about 80 bucks each.

I apologize, you are correct. I thought these things were issued by RCM. The box and coa had me fooled.

i wanted them originally because i collect all gold and silver maples excluding holograms and colorized. i got in early and got them CHEAP. then i found out they were not authentic RCM gilding. so then my intent was to flip as well. and then the most ridiculous scenario I have ever been involved in erupted. As soon as the dust settles I will start copying and pasting the email chain between myself and DAZZLINGCOINS and COINCOLLECTORJUNKIE.

BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE BUYING FROM HER.

I ordered the regular silver version last week. Won't get it until later this month as my order contained a 2014 ASE that is not yet available. I definitely wouldn't pay $100 for a gilded version.

What will stop someone to duplicate this? Buy 100 regular coins, put some nail polish or something on the "25". print a coa and sell for 300.00 each?
See they are already selling for 300 on ebay. That coa seems to have the RCM logo on it

I knew that when I spotted it - but, they are really well done and the contrast is beautiful. I simply love mine. I know several collectors, that when they saw mine, wanted one for their own silver maple leaf collections - aftermarket gold gilding or not.... for me, it is not different than any other sort of exonumia that I collect.

This reply is a joke and should be treated as one.
