    The "L" in Liberty is totally blended with rim.

    See this a lot with well-circulated ('loved') coins, especially the old wheaties. Rim wears down and everything sort of... mushes together.

    Common occurrence. Probably half of the wheats I own the L in Liberty has faded into the rim

    It had an L , just wear and tear took it off. Nothing special I see.
